OSS ‘Year of the Driver’ ensures everyone’s input

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (Jan. 4, 2008) – Orange Show Speedway Director of Motorsports, Joe Ganino, is providing every opportunity for drivers and fans to have direct input on the upcoming 2008 OSS Race Season.

Ganino and the speedway’s director of competition, Gary Stockman will be conducting driver’s meeting at the NOS Sports Center on January 19th. The purpose is to cover the changes being considered for the 2008 Season. With fan and driver surveys, Ganino explained that everyone has had a say and been a part of the tremendous growth over the last year;

“None of the incredible growth that the speedway has seen lately could have been possible without everyone’s support. Drivers, Families, NOS Board of Directors, and especially the fans made for a wonderful renaissance in 2007. The surveys were just the beginning. The upcoming meetings will give all drivers the opportunity to have input as we continue to strive to create a fun and affordable experience for both drivers and fans.”

Director of Competition, Gary Stockman, will conduct the divisional meeting throughout the day of the 19th. Stockman and his team of officials have committed themselves to making sure that every driver knows how much they appreciate their dedication to the sport and want to make sure they get that opportunity;

“Orange Show Speedway is all about affordable racing. But over the past few years, costs have increased for the drivers. With some of the adjustments that Ganino has made as well as some of ideas that the management team have come up with, the average driver is going to be competitive and more importantly is going to know how much we appreciate them being here. We will continue to grow, if we continue to work together.”

Mr. Stockman has announced the divisional schedule and times for the meetings. All drivers and owners are encouraged to attend for their respective division. In addition, OSS Staff and Volunteers will also make available Driver’s to fill out their Membership Information for ASA, OSS Media Information as well as anyone wishing to make reservations for the upcoming 2007 OSS Awards Banquet to be held at the very same venue on the following Saturday, January 26, 2008.
